ABOUT US

· Gallery Plastic Surgery is a multi-plastic surgeon practice specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and body. We are looking for a board eligible or board certified plastic surgeon to join our growing team. We perform thousands of surgeries with the most common being breast surgery, abdominoplasty, liposuction, blepharoplasty, facelift and BBL. All procedures requiring general anesthesia or MAC are performed at an accredited surgery center or the hospital.

· Our plastic surgeons and 3 aesthetic nurses perform injectables such as TOX and dermal fillers. We also offer power assisted liposuction (PAL), Renuvion, Wells Johnson HVP, Aveli, Hydrafacial, and laser treatments. You can learn more about us at www.GalleryPlasticSurgery.com

· We handle all the operations, marketing, IT, HR, accreditation. The surgeon can enjoy patient care without the headaches or running and managing the practice.

SCHEDULE

· The job is Monday to Friday with no in-house calls and no required ER/Hospital calls. There is an opportunity for an additional stipend if the plastic surgeon decides to take ER/Hospital call which is provided by the respective hospital.

· There is flexibility in the hours, but the plastic surgeon is expected to work at least 32 hours a week with 2 days minimum reserved as surgical days.

· Outpatient schedule: We see patients from 9 am to 4 pm with a lunch break.


RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform cosmetic and/or reconstructive surgical procedures including breast augmentation, liposuction, facelifts, tummy tucks, and more

· Consult with patients to determine their goals, expectations, and surgical options

· Create personalized treatment plans and communicate them effectively to patients

· Conduct thorough evaluations and examinations of patients to determine candidacy for surgical procedures

· Ensure exceptional and hands-on patient care throughout the surgical process, including consultations, surgical procedures, and post-operative follow-ups

· Stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in plastic surgery through continuous learning and professional development

· Provide clear and accurate explanations of the risks, benefits, and potential outcomes of each procedure

· Provide Before and After photos to the marketing team regularly

· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

· Document patient information, procedures performed, and treatment plans in a timely manner, accurately, and efficiently

· Adhere to all medical and ethical standards, guidelines, and regulations

· Be reliable, approachable, work well with our team

· Create, maintain and effectively operate own social media account in a tasteful and ethical manner. Expectations are to post engaging content at least 3 times a week.


SALARY & PAYMENT

· The salary is generous, production-based and highly competitive. Payment is made twice a month.

· Starting baseline salary of $200,000.00 PLUS collections, which can be as high as $800,000.00+ with NO CAP per year depending on your hard work, productivity, and dedication.


QUALIFICATIONS

· License/Certification: Board certified or Board eligible in Plastic Surgery by ABPS (American Board of Plastic Surgery)

· Current California Medical License with no claims or restrictions

· Current BLS and ACLS certifications

· Proficient in performing a wide range of cosmetic surgical procedures

· Strong attention to detail

· Excellent hand-eye coordination to perform precise and careful surgical techniques

· Excellent eye for aesthetics

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and educate patients effectively

· Must have the ability to build clientele

· Must be patient and ethics-focused

· Must represent the practice well

· Able to learn new techniques and technologies

· Before and after photos are a plus.

Ability to Relocate:

  • Monterey, CA 93940: Relocate before starting work (Required). Must live within 20 minutes of hospital where privileges are maintained for potential emergency surgical situations.
