The Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Utah is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible plastic surgeon with fellowship training in microvascular surgery to join our full-time academic faculty. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong commitment to oncologic reconstruction, with an emphasis on breast reconstruction and lymphatic surgery.

This position offers the opportunity to join a highly collaborative and growing division (20 faculty members) within a leading academic medical center. The successful applicant will play an active role in medical student, resident and fellow education, surgical training, and research initiatives. Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical expertise in oncologic reconstruction with an emphasis on breast reconstruction (using oncoplastic, implant-based, and microvascular techniques) and lymphatic surgery
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care within the University of Utah Health system
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Engage in scholarly activity and research
  • Contribute to division, department, and institutional service missions

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Plastic Surgery
  • Completion of a fellowship in Microvascular Surgery
  • Demonstrated interest and/or expertise in oncologic reconstruction including breast reconstruction and lymphatic surgery
  • Eligible for a Utah Medical License
