Gender Reassignment/Transgender Surgery
Academic
This
one
year
fellowship
focuses
on
all
aspects
of
gender
confirmation
surgery
as
well
as
multi-disciplinary
transgender
health
care.
The
fellow
will
primarily
spend
time
in
the
Plastic
&
Reconstructive
Surgery
Division
at
Oregon
Health
and
Science
University
under
the
direction
of
Dr.
Jens
Berli.
The
fellow
will
further
be
trained
in
vaginoplasty
and
metoidioplasty
under
the
supervision
of
Dr.
Daniel
Dugi
and
Dr.
Geolani
Dy
in
the
Department
of
Urology.
Additionally,
the
fellow
will
be
exposed
to
other
important
aspects
of
transgender
health
care
including
affiliated
sub-specialties,
as
well
as
program
building.
The
fellowship
is
intended
for
applicants
with
an
interest
in
leading
a
gender
surgical
program
at
an
academic
institution.
M.D.;
Completion
or
anticipated
completion
of
ACGME
accredited
Plastic
Surgery
Residency.
Board
Eligibility
in
Plastic
&
Reconstructive
Surgery.
Interviews
