The
practice
is
95%
cosmetic
encompassing
facial,
breast
and
body
aesthetic
procedures.
Breast
reconstruction
Is
approximately
5%
of
the
practice
volume
of
approximately
800
surgical
cases
per
year.
Outpatient
surgeries
are
performed
in
the
practice’s
two
AAAASF
certified
operating
rooms
one
in
Manhattan
and
another
in
Great
Neck
offices.
Fellow
will
have
independent
clinical
privileges
in
both
locations
as
well
as
dedicated
fellow's
clinic
and
OR
block
time.
There’s
a
complement
exposure
for
the
fellow
to
nonsurgical
injectable
and
medaesthetics
procedures
in
both
locations.
The
fellow
is
expected
to
engage
in
clinical
research,
travel
expenses
for
presentations
would
be
covered
during
the
year.
Independent
clinic
hours
and
operating
privileges
would
progress
throughout
the
year.
Exposure
to
a
well-established
and
successful
cosmetic
practice
with
marketing
and
social
media
pertinent
to
plastic
surgery
and
develop
comfort
in
educating
and
engaging
with
the
public
on
social
media
platforms
in
a
professional
manner.
Competitive
salary/housing
in
Manhattan
and
malpractice
insurance
is
provided.
Applicants
to
the
Fellowship
Program
must
have
completed
a
residency
in
a
plastic
surgery
program
accredited
by
the
ACGME
and
be
board
eligible
or
be
board-certified
in
plastic
surgery
and
have
a
New
York
medical
license
and
DEA
by
the
fellowship
start
date.
Initial
virtual
interviews
may
be
followed
by
an
in
person
visit
to
the
practice.
